Maya Boyd attended Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Louvre on Tuesday, October 6. The event, held on the final day of the Paris schedule, was also attended by fellow guests Alana Haim and Chloe Grace Moretz.

Her experience and style at the show

Boyd described feeling excited to see all the amazing looks from Nicolas Ghesquière's spring 2027 collection. She wore a full black Louis Vuitton ensemble, which included a miniskirt, heels, and a classic brown monogrammed handbag. The standout piece was a black jacket featuring golden buttons across the front and along the spine. "I’m obsessed with the cool little pieces of buttons on the back," Boyd said.

Poised and relaxed before the show, the actress expressed her gratitude for the experience. "I’m so excited and so grateful to be here and experience a new place with food, people and the culture," she noted. Boyd admitted she had no idea what to expect from the show itself but was keen to see what Louis Vuitton had created, stating she was simply coming along for the ride. She also mentioned wanting to celebrate the show with all the people in attendance.

Behind the look and her preparation

The look was a collaborative effort. Boyd tapped one of her sisters to act as her stylist for the occasion. The siblings worked directly with Louis Vuitton, trying on different looks before gravitating immediately toward the selected black ensemble. To personalize the outfit, Boyd wanted to experiment with her hair and makeup, seeing the process as a chance to build upon the work.

Boyd's rising profile and style perspective

Maya Boyd is an actress known for her work on Broadway and is set to make her feature film debut as Ororo Munroe, also known as Storm, in an upcoming untitled X-Men movie. She steps into a Marvel Cinematic Universe role previously portrayed by Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp. The new X-Men film's confirmed cast includes several notable names.

Her Broadway credits include 'Merrily We Roll Around', and she performed in '& Juliet' and 'Joe Turner's Come and Gone' while a senior at the University of Michigan. Boyd describes her overall style as elegant but fun, blending classic and chic foundations with playful and edgy elements.

City immersion and personal touches

Beyond the runway, Boyd immersed herself in Parisian culture. She strolled through the Marais district for vintage shopping and food, and spent time sitting at outdoor café tables people-watching, which she called a very Parisian experience. When preparing for events like this one, she keeps a personal playlist of old school music and songs she grew up listening to.
