Castore, a Liverpool-founded sportswear company, celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade since its 2016 launch.

Founding and Vision

The brand was founded by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon in 2016, with a focus on performance sportswear and the slogan “Better Never Stops”. The Beahon brothers set out to create a premium sportswear line that prioritised performance without compromising on quality.

Sporting Partnerships

Since its inception, Castore has grown from a start-up into a global sportswear business, securing partnerships across football, rugby, cricket, Formula 1, tennis and golf. Its current roster of partners includes Rangers, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, the McLaren Formula 1 Team, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Bath Rugby and the Red Roses. The brand has also worked with athletes such as Sir Andy Murray and Matt Fitzpatrick. The partnership with Rangers and Bayer 04 Leverkusen has boosted its presence in European football, as seen in recent fixtures and stats.

Product Innovation

Castore says it has used these partnerships to test and improve its products, with a focus on lightweight materials, breathability, stretch and durability. The company’s emphasis on performance-led design has been a key factor in its expansion across elite sport and premium apparel.

Future Ambitions

Castore co-founder Tom Beahon said: “Reaching our ten-year anniversary is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, but for us it’s never been about looking backwards for too long. From day one, Phil and I believed there was an opportunity to create a premium sportswear brand that put performance first and refused to compromise on quality. That belief became Better Never Stops, and it continues to drive every decision we make today. What we’ve achieved over the past decade simply wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our team, the trust of our partners and the athletes who choose to wear our products at every level of sport.” Beahon added that Castore’s ambition is to become “the world’s leading premium sportswear brand”. The anniversary comes as Castore continues to invest in its international presence, sports partnerships and product ranges, with the next phase focused on further growth across elite sport and premium apparel while continuing to develop performance-led products for both professional and everyday athletes. Castore’s ambition is to become the world’s leading premium sportswear brand.
