Louis Vuitton Men's Creative Director Pharrell Williams has unveiled the house's 2027 Men's Ski Collection, a fusion of high-performance alpine gear and metropolitan tailoring.
Pharrell Williams presented Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Ski Collection for the 2027 season. The French fashion house is launching a range that blends technical performance with metropolitan dandyism, drawing inspiration from 1990s skiwear. The collection was officially unveiled as a fusion of high-performance alpine gear and trompe l'oeil tailoring.
Technical performance and materials
Engineered from water-repellent, PFAS-free materials, the technical garments focus on innovation. They incorporate waterproof closures and targeted ventilation systems. Integrated trouser BOA systems are specifically designed for use with snowboard boots. Insulated compartments are included for storing phones and goggles or masks.
Outerwear and après-ski offerings
The outerwear selection is extensive. It includes a snowboarding hoodie with a water-repellent shell, fleece lining, and an integrated ventilated faceguard. A Monogram Macassar parka comes with matching ripstop-paneled trousers. Another option is a technical denim-effect shell set detailed with corduroy accents.
The après-ski offering shifts toward relaxed casualwear. It features a shearling trucker jacket printed to imitate denim. A fleece jersey jacket mimics traditional cable-knit knitwear. An intarsia blouson displays the mountain-inspired LV Summit pattern, which incorporates snowflake graphics and Monogram Argyle motifs.
Eveningwear, footwear, and accessories
Raised cold-weather eveningwear introduces formal elements to the slopes. This includes cotton corduroy trousers with Monogram satin turn-ups. A loden jacket is woven from double-face wool and metallic lurex to produce a glistening, snow-like appearance.
Footwear spans multiple styles for different needs. Options include a water-repellent, glacier-toned LV Trainer in nubuck and rubber, shearling-lined iterations of the same style, chunky LV City Ranger combat boots, and debossed suede LV Easy slip-ons. The collection is complemented by shearling accessories.
Design motifs like Monogram Argyle, snowflake jacquards, and an LV Skier graphic extend across base layers, scarves, beanies, and specialized eyewear such as the LV Frost Ski Mask.
Luggage and design motifs
The luggage pieces continue the collection's technical and aesthetic themes. White Monogram Reflective canvas details appear on the Keepall 25, Discovery backpack, and Trio Messenger. Tan shearling and blue suede trompe l’oeil leather are used on the Christopher backpack and the Speedy P9 30.
The overall range also includes oversized outerwear, technical trousers, and insulated layers. The collection includes PFAS-free sportswear and water-repellent, glacier-toned LV Trainers in nubuck and rubber, setting a new benchmark for sustainable luxury winter performance wear.
