Public School FW26 Campaign Reclaims New York City
Public School's FW26 campaign, shot by Joshua Woods, features models in tailored outerwear traversing NYC streets.

Public School has launched its FW26 campaign, titled "The City Is Mine." Shot by photographer Joshua Woods, the campaign features models Scott Barnhill, MJ Marte, and Idriys Ali-Chow handling neon-lit New York City streets and landmarks, including the Brooklyn Bridge, in a classic Toyota Century.
The imagery highlights key pieces from the fall-winter 2026 collection. Statement outerwear is a focus, with trench coat silhouettes taking center stage. A sleek black leather overcoat and a belted gray tweed coat are shown flowing in the breeze. The campaign also spotlights tailored looks, including a minimal black suit worn by Idriys Ali-Chow, styled with a sepia-toned graphic button-up shirt.
Campaign Focus and NYC Inspiration
According to the brand's founders, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the campaign revisits locations that have defined their label. Public School's aesthetic is heavily shaped by its New York City provenance. The brand consistently draws from the city's diverse culture and the versatile dressing styles found across its different communities.
In a recent Hypebeast cover story, Dao-Yi Chow reflected on the city's influence. "When we talk about our version of New York, it always comes back to the same things: ease, a high taste level that comes from exposure to so many different cultures, versatility, and modularity," he said. Chow added, "The universal idea of New York isn't necessarily about the clothes you wear. It's about how you wear them. It's the attitude."
The FW26 Collection's Style Fusion
The FW26 collection itself blends multiple style genres. It combines influences from tailoring, sportswear, and streetwear. This mix is rooted in what the brand describes as the movement between differing environments and expressions of style across New York's five boroughs. The campaign photos shows this fusion through layered and adaptable looks.
Upcoming NYFW Show for SS27
Looking ahead, Public School is preparing for the next fashion week cycle. The label is scheduled to debut its Spring-Summer 2027 collection at New York Fashion Week. The show is set for September 10, 2026. This follows the brand's notable return to the NYFW schedule earlier in 2026. The upcoming presentation will mark the next chapter in the designers' ongoing narrative with their home city.
The FW26 campaign solidifies the brand's urban foundation. It visually asserts Public School's claim on the stylistic energy of New York. The collection will be available in stores following the campaign's release.
