Wrangler and imogene + willie launch collaboration collection
Wrangler and Nashville-based imogene + willie launch a three-drop vintage Americana collection, reviving rare archival denim and workwear.

Wrangler and imogene + willie have launched a collaborative denim collection rooted in Western heritage and archive-driven design. The Nashville crew was given keys to Wrangler’s rich archives, including original patterns, vintage visual assets, and rare fabrics for this limited rollout.
The collaboration launches with a first drop featuring overdyed championship jackets, deadstock selvedge denim, and 90s-inspired graphic tees drawn from Wrangler’s archives. The 12MJZ jacket, traditionally awarded to rodeo winners, is recreated in overdyed, sunfaded cotton twill. This initial offering includes deadstock, rigid selvedge denim from the iconic Cone Mills White Oak Mill and a limited-edition Studio Tee inspired by 90s-era all-over graphic prints with custom Western artwork.
Drop 2 highlights Western workwear revival
Drop 2 arrives on October 24, focusing on rugged broken twill denim and woven fabrics developed with Mount Vernon Mills, the last remaining large-scale denim mill in the US. This phase introduces heritage jeans like the 1950s 'Cowboy Cut' 13MWZ and its feminine counterpart, the 14MWZ, both available in washed indigo and black finishes. Classic saddle-ready details such as flat copper rivets and flat-felled inseams are prominent.
The jacket selection in Drop 2 includes the zip-up 11MJZ denim jacket and the 12MJZ 'championship' jacket. It also features Woven 27MW Western snap shirts, screen-printed graphic tees, and fleece crewnecks sewn in the USA.
