Stine Goya and Umbro have reunited for a second collaborative capsule collection titled "Where We Meet." The five-piece lineup, which launches on August 31, is inspired by the community and rituals surrounding football culture off the pitch, moving from the fixtures to the social spaces beyond.

The Danish designer and the British sportswear label have created a collection that draws on the soul of 1990s Britain. It looks to spaces like greasy spoon cafes, pub corners, and graffiti-covered club bathrooms where football, rave, and youth culture historically overlap. The aim is to capture the after-hours energy of matchday.

The Collection Pieces

The capsule consists of five distinct items. The lineup includes three boxy collared jerseys and a slim-fit T-shirt featuring a hand-painted checkerboard print. Completing the set is a lightweight long-sleeve sweatshirt covered in doodles and handwriting, a design reportedly inspired by the walls of a well-loved pub bathroom.

A recurring detail across the jerseys and the T-shirt is Umbro's signature crest. It has been reimagined with a romantic lace treatment, intended to bring a softer and more feminine touch to the classic sportswear shapes.

Campaign and Inspiration

The accompanying campaign features professional dancer Didde-Mie Lykke. She is shown moving through a local pub, a setting chosen to capture the spontaneity and energy of the communal spaces that inspired the collection. The brands describe "Where We Meet" as an exploration of the rituals that bring people together, from terrace chants and post-match pints to dancing with strangers.

It is positioned as more than just football-inspired apparel. The collection is presented as a tribute to the places where matchday culture truly comes alive, swapping the football pitch for the social hubs that surround it, much like fans dissect the stats after the final whistle.

Availability

The "Where We Meet" capsule collection will be available for purchase starting August 31. The brands direct customers to the Stine Goya and Umbro websites for more information and to shop the release.

The campaign starring Didde-Mie Lykke visually ties the clothing back to its pub and community roots, emphasizing the lived-in, energetic feel of the designs.
